Growing up in New Jersey, he started out as a comic book-obsessed kid and made his way to Hollywood, where he redefined what superhero movies could be. From passion to persistence to the power of believing in your own vision, this one cannot be missed.
About Michael Uslan
Michael Uslan was born and raised in New Jersey, where his love of comic books and especially Batman shaped his path from an early age. He is best known as the producer behind every modern Batman film, from Tim Burton’s 1989 version to The Dark Knight trilogy and beyond.
After spending years fighting to bring a darker, more authentic Batman to the screen, he changed the landscape of superhero films forever. Today he is working on a Broadway show based on his memoir The Boy Who Loved Batman, which tells the inspiring story of how a kid from Jersey made it all the way to Hollywood.
